The GBC Strategy & Communications Team has contracted with the Pop Up Business School company to deliver an event targeted at local residents (particularly those unemployed or facing redundancy) who may want to consider starting a business. When this ran in Reading they had 335 delegates, 50% of whom were unemployed, and they created 122 new businesses.
The style of delivery which will be on a Zoom platform will be dynamic and interactive and the support continues after the event with an on line supportive community. Although it runs for two weeks, participants can choose which sessions to join.
The Pop Up Business School is free and will run from the 22 February to 5 March and covers a broad range of subjects including:
- How to turn your business idea into reality
- Marketing and promotion
- Sales – growing your business
- How to build a website for free
- Negotiation skills
- Finance and legal
More details can be found on the weblink below including how to book.
