It is bulging with information about your Parish Council and East Horsley and attracts around 1000 visitors every month. We are biased of course, but we believe it is one of the best updated and easy to navigate Parish Council websites in Surrey.

Since its launch in winter 2015 easthorsley.info has never accepted display advertising. Even with the Business Guide, the newsletter will have at least 87% editorial. So each issue will continue to be packed with news and information about important local issues and community events. And who best to have their finger on the pulse of all things East Horsley than the newsletter publisher, your very own Parish Council and its team of locally based contributors.

East Horsley is the largest village in Surrey and probably the only village in England with two railway stations. It is a prosperous parish with 66% of homes being in the top two Council Tax Bands (G-54% and H-12%) compared to 16% across Guildford Borough overall. The last census showed East Horsley had a population of 4,290 people with 57% being between 16 and 65 years old, economically active and with a significant disposable income.

Recent research for the East Horsley Neighbourhood Plan revealed that there were over 80 businesses in the village. These include numerous home-based ventures as well as our many retailers, local small & medium enterprises (SMEs) operating out of our various office sites and larger enterprises with a local branch. To help sustain the diversity and plurality of our community we wanted to give all these businesses a "shop window" in the only news publication exclusively targeting all East Horsley households as well as the Parish Council's highly informative and constantly updated website.
